I’m glad you found my website; it is my intention to provide you with a place to begin the process of opening your heart again. Here’s my story…
My beloved husband Mark passed away unexpectedly in July of 2010…it was a blood clot in his lungs, and his last words to me were, “Margaret Mary, I’ll love you forever.”
It was so unexpected and without warning because Mark was the picture of health. He exercised regularly, drank smoothies, and took very good care of himself. I spent the next year in a whirlwind of shock and despair. I looked normal. I took care of my three children, but inside I was numb.
I was lost for quite some time. I was able to regain a sense of myself with therapy, and by attending a 3-day intensive Grief Recovery Workshop, in Los Angeles, CA. I learned more about myself and the many faces of grief. Over time, I began to feel I may have a role in bringing others to a place of peace from their loss and trained to be a Facilitator for Grief Recovery. Like a soft rain, tiny droplets of hope found me, and I slowly began to heal. As I healed, I changed, and I became a different version of myself…
In 2008, I decided to have some fun and became a Zumba instructor and taught classes at the YMCA for 8 years. After taking an online meditation class and researching this field, I began healing others by providing guided meditation classes. I furthered my healing by exploring the field of energy work. I’m now certified in Theta Healing and Reiki 2.
From early on, I always knew I wanted to be a nurse and a mother. I fulfilled my first dream by graduating as an RN from Milwaukee County Medical Complex, School of Nursing in 1987. Later, I went on to receive my Bachelors of Science from Marion College in 1991.
My first position in nursing was at Froedtert Hospital. I worked there as a staff RN for 5 years, before leaving to take a job as a Nurse Case Manager in the field of workers compensation. As a lifelong student of the Universe, I have since opened myself up to my surroundings and allowed Universal wisdom to be my guide. As a result, I am never without a notepad and pen, as I contemplate the mysteries around me…Thus along the way, an observer/researcher of life has been born, and this is where I stand today.
